Hello!
I’m Shefali.
I started out as a journalist in Bangalore, where I got to cover food and culture (plenty of free concerts, no complaints there).
My first detour was into the nonprofit space. I spent six years as a fundraising writer in New York, crafting award-winning, multi-channel copy for organizations I was genuinely inspired by. A brief stint at Lyft ended up being my getaway ride to tech.
Now, I manage global copy for Miro. In the last four years, I've worked across Brand, Growth, Product, and Community — noodling on landing pages, performance ads, emails, podcast spots, video, social… you get the picture. And the variety never gets old.
Outside of work? Mostly good food, bad puns, and good-bad TV. I spent 90 percent of the pandemic watching shows 90 percent of people shouldn't be subjected to. Zero regrets.
These days, you can find me bakery-hopping in Amsterdam, where I live with my husband and daughter. If you're keen to collaborate, riff on ideas, or just chat about how I can help tell your story, I’d love to hear from you.
